What if…I am a first time voter?

*this is not legal advice, but we wanted to share some general information

We are so proud of you for participating in democracy! Good job! If you’re a first time voter you’re definitely going to want to make a plan to vote. We also want to note that first time voters in ALL states do require an ID either at the time of in person registration or voting. So be prepared to show up with either a current and valid photo identification or a copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or other government document that shows the name and address of the voter.
