Kid’s Room Bundle
When children split time between two homes, having a room that feels genuinely theirs at both places makes an enormous difference. This divorce registry kid's room bundle covers the essentials for setting up a comfortable, welcoming space — bedding, storage, lighting, and the items that help kids feel settled and at home, wherever they are that night.
How to build your divorce registry
A divorce registry works just like a wedding registry — except it's for the fresh start you actually need. Browse the items in this bundle, add what resonates to your registry, and share it with the people in your life who want to show up for you. Here's how:
- 1 Create your free registry — it takes two minutes and you can add items from anywhere on the internet, not just Fresh Starts.
- 2 Click the product links in this bundle and add the items that feel right for your situation. You don't have to add everything — your registry should reflect what you actually need.
- 3 Share your registry with friends and family. The people who love you want to do something concrete — this makes it easy for them. Not sure how to share it? We wrote the scripts for you →
- 4 Add a personal note to your registry — something as simple as "Thank you for supporting me through my fresh start." It sets the tone and gives givers the context they need.
Don’t feel like sending it out to anyone? That’s okay, too. At least everything you need will be in one handy place so you can click “buy now,” and get started on your Fresh Start ASAP! Don’t forget to check out the Resource Guide for the experts to support you on your journey, too.

Children’s Room Essentials for a Fresh Start
We want to take a moment to acknowledge that many times when families are going through a Fresh Start, there may be a strict budget in place, so we took this into account with the Children’s Rooms Essentials we recommended, as we firmly believe children should have a warm and safe space of their own, but many times there is only so much to spend on new items during major life changes. Remember, you are allowed and encouraged to send your registry to family and friends, because you are worthy of a Fresh Start. We also wanted to make note that we chose these items because they can be assembled by one adult.
Storage Cubes: We are huge fans of these foldable storage cubes that could be used for books, toys, clothes, or more. They come in a bunch of fun, bright colors and would add a nice pop to any kid’s room.
Toy Chest: We’re loving this foldable toy chest for larger toys! It’s easy to build and we love the fun colors. Can also be used to store board games or costumes! Here’s another pattern, too!
Hamper: We’re obsessed with these hampers (Olivia has about 400 of them, no joke). They come in so many patterns and would maybe (maybe?) make laundry fun for kids? (ha ha)
Hangers: Get yourself a pack of kids velvet hangers so that when they do hang up their clothing it won’t fall off!
Sheets: These basic sheets come in a huge variety of colors, and each set comes with a flat sheet, a fitted sheet and two 30 inch Standard pillowcases. They’re super budget friendly and are rated 4.6/5 stars; we suggest getting a print or color your kiddo will love, even as they age.
Bed Pillows: Here, we found some highly-rated pillows that’ll be just fine for your kiddos. Make this easy on yourself.
Pillowcases:These cotton pillowcases come in a wide variety of standard colors and are easily washable!
Comforter: Make that bed super comfy and get this all-seasons comforter for your kiddo’s bed! It comes in all sizes and is super affordable.
Duvet Cover:This cotton duvet cover comes in a ton of colors and standard sizes, and even includes a pillowcase. Let your kiddo pick out what color they want!
Night-light:We love this star-gazing night-light and would add a special touch to any children’s room.
Humidifier: We always recommend having a small humidifier in any bedroom, especially during the winter months. This is one we personally use; it’s easy to clean and set up, so you won’t get overwhelmed, and it’s highly rated to help keep you healthy (did you know dry noses can lead to sickness?!)
Blackout Curtains: We’ve heard it said that kids may sleep better and longer when they aren’t awoken by the morning light. We love these basic blackout curtains that come in many sizes and colors and are highly rated.
Sound Machine: Sometimes we all need a little sound to help us sleep, and we’re huge fans of this classic and simple sound machine (literally, we all own one ourselves).
Wake-up Clock: Your kid may not be able to tell time yet, which is why we’re huge fans of this wake-up clock that uses color to let them know when to wake up (or when to wake you up!). We use this one ourselves!
