Kitchen Essentials for Your Fresh Start
Jar Opener: Yes, first on the list is a jar opener! We’re all about removing frustration from our life, so get yourself a jar opener and never struggle with a jar again! We like this jar opener, but this under the counter one is also very rad.
Eating Utensils: We cannot understate the importance of buying new eating utensils! Whatever your Fresh Start is, you are worthy of having new utensils that will be there as you nourish yourself with amazing food! We like this 20 piece set, as it has a classic but modern style and would fit in any kitchen aesthetic. Plus, it’s highly rated and comes in fun colors!
Dish Towels: Get yourself some new dish towels! If you have to do the dishes, make sure you have fresh towels that you love. We like these cotton towels that come in a pack of 12 and many colors to choose from! We’re also fans of these striped ones that come in a ton of colors and are highly rated.
Dishware: Yes, you deserve new dishes! We always suggest a classic white ceramic dish set for 4 to begin with, you can always dress up the table in other ways, so go simple with the dishes. This set includes 4 each: 10.5-inch dinner plates, 7.5-inch salad/dessert plates, 5.5 x 2.75-inch bowls, and 4-inch-tall coffee/tea mugs.
Can opener: Out of all the kitchen essentials you’ll need, we always recommend having a can opener on hand! We also recommend having both a manual one and an electric one. You never know when you’ll need both! We are big fans of this OXO manual can opener which has great ratings and reviews (we love OXO), and when it comes to an electric can opener, check this one out (yes, it’s a little pricey, but some things are worth it!).
Pots and pans: We know it can be majorly overwhelming picking out a pots and pans set, so we’ve found a few options for you. If you’re looking for a stainless steel set, check out this 12 piece stainless steel pots and pans set which includes: 1.5 qt saucepan, 1.5, 2, and 3 qt saucepot casseroles, 5.5 qt stockpot, and a 10-inch saute fry pan with lids; with 4.5/5 stars, this stainless steel pots and pans set is an ideal kitchen essential for your Fresh Start. This single-purpose kitchen item is ideal when it comes to making single servings of soups and other items that require a blender! No more trying to stick the blender in the big jar and wondering why it's not working, invest in an immersion blender that will allow you single servings of delicious soup, or smoothies, whenever you want them.
5-in-1 Wine Corker: We suggest having a 5-in-1 wine corker that features an aerator, pourer, filter, and leak-proof stopper. Just pop this in and it'll keep your booze fresh for the next wine night.
Electric Wine Bottle Opener: Get yourself an electric wine bottle opener and make your life easier! This electric wine opener features a powerful and fast cork removal function that can open up to 100 wine bottles at one time.
Flat Bottle Opener: Also make sure you have flat bottle openers, too! We love this three pack that won’t hurt your hand to use.
